Asha holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) and psychotherapist. With a genuine passion for mental health, she is committed to supporting individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life. Asha provides compassionate, effective therapeutic support to people of all ages, including individuals, couples, and families. She takes an eclectic approach to therapy, drawing on a diverse set of techniques and interventions that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Asha specializes in addressing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, PTSD, depression, low self-esteem, postpartum depression (PPD), stress, relationship issues, and family dynamics, among others. She integrates multiple therapeutic modalities into her practice, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Couples Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and a Strength-Based approach. These approaches provide valuable frameworks that allow Asha to create a personalized and effective therapeutic experience for every client.
